Third generation connected to the Alvarinho grape and the Vinho Verde region. Márcia is originally from the region of Monção. From a very young age she was in and around the vineyards and wineries because of her grandfather.

At the age of sixteen she knew oenology was her journey, completing her training at Catholic University of Porto.

Now with more than fourteen vintages under her belt, Marcia is the winemaker at Quinta da Pedra and Royal Palmeira since 2020.
