The property’s 61 hectares of vines are spread across the rich clay-limestone soils that dominate the gentle hills of this estate. The entire vineyard is dry farmed, meaning no irrigation is used. Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are used to create our sparkling wines COLINAS. These famous varietals combined with the rich limestone soil, the Coquard press and the region’s old tradition, makes it possible to produce sparkling wines that can rival with the best in the world, namely Champagne.

TERROIR: Atlantic influenced climate, protected by the Caramulo and Bussaco Hills. Vinhas plantadas em alta densidade (até 6172 pés por hectare) em suaves colinas de solos argilo-calcários, na famosa mancha de calcário da região. Completely dry farmed.
VARIETALS: Chardonnay SERVING TEMP: Serve between 6 -7 Cº.
STORAGE: In a cool dry place (12 a 14 Cº) away from direct sunlight and without big fluctuations in temperature.
AGEING ABILITY: The wine is perfect to drink now but can be kept for up to 3-5 years after released in the market.
Bright straw in colour. Citrus aroma, with light autolytic notes (biscuit/brioche). Perfect mousse in the palate, reflecting the long aging time on the lees. Balanced acidity that lingers through the finish contributing to a very enticing mineral sensation that is the highlight of this sparkling wine.
