Colinas Cuvée Brut Reserva N/V

The property’s 61 hectares of vines are spread across the rich clay-limestone soils that dominate the gentle hills of this estate. The entire vineyard is dry farmed, meaning no irrigation is used. These famous varietals combined with the rich limestone soil, the Coquard press and the region’s old tradition, makes it possible to produce sparkling wines that can rival with the best in the world, namely Champagne. In this special edition of the Cuvée Reserva, for a perfect balance between acidity and dosage, the wine is designated and produced as BRUT.

LOCATION: S. Lourenço do Bairro, Bairrada, Portugal

TERROIR: Atlantic influenced climate, protected by the Caramulo and Bussaco Hills. Vineyards planted at high density (up to 6172 plants per hectare) on gentle hills of clay-limestone soils. Completely dry farmed.

VARIETALS: Chardonnay

PRODUÇÃO: Método clássico

SERVING TEMP: Serve between 6-7 Cº.

STORAGE: In a cool dry place (12 a 14 Cº) away from direct sunlight and without big fluctuations in temperature.

AGEING ABILITY: The wine is perfect to drink now but can be kept for up to 3-5 years after released in the market. In that case, keep the bottle stored horizontally in a cool, constant-temperature environment.
