Description
Deep dark core with very narrow ruby rim. Presents aromas of conserved black fruit with some notes of mint and green pepper, wrapped in light spicy notes from the oak, which gives many layers of depth. It is a full bodied wine, with an elegant fresh acidity and smooth tannins. It lingers in the palate for minutes.

Fladgate Wines –
93 points – James Suckling – “This is showing lovely berry-fruit character like mulberries and blackcurrants alongside coffee beans, chili-chocolate and wet earth. It’s medium-bodied, supple and well integrated with softened tannins. Cabernet sauvignon, touriga nacional and merlot. Drink now or hold”.
Fladgate Wines –
92 points – Wine Spectator – “Aging gracefully, this expressive red is fresh and harmonious. Notes of bay leaf, cedar and espresso are a fragrant overtone for ripe black currant and black olive flavors enmeshed with fine-grained tannins. This shows good focus and length through to the finish of milled pepper and graphite. Cabernet Sauvignon, Touriga Nacional and Merlot. Drink now through 2030. 100 cases imported.”
